Protect against injury
from poles with this extruded foam safety padding
with UV resistance. Increase sports safety
for basketball poles, goal posts
and tetherball poles
by gluing on lengths of this 48 inch long pole padding that can be stacked for taller poles.
For industrial safety applications
or for home safety
, cover poles with this UV protected circular pole padding from Cardinal Gates.
This black pole pad protects children
from running into metal basement supports, sports poles, etc. For posts taller than 48 inches, stack sticks one above the other for childproofing
. Each 48 inch stick of safety padding
fits poles up to 2 1/8" inches in diameter or 6.6 inches in circumference. (Remember diameter is the width of a circle.) Or match back-to-back to protect larger posts. This flexible pole padding
safety proofs support beams, pillars, goal posts, basketball poles and much more.
How High Do You Want to Cover? Use a metal measuring tape to decide how tall your pole is and whether a 48 inch length is tall enough to meet your needs.
How Many Pole Pads Are Needed to Cover the Circumference of the Pole?
Use a tailor's measuring tape to measure the circumference (distance around the outside) of the pole. Then determine the diameter to judge how many pads will cover all or most of that pole. Note: To determine the diameter, take the number of inches of circumference and divide by 3.14. Example, the circumference of the pole is 7 inches. The circumference is 7 divided by 3.14 or 2.23 inches. One pad
will cover almost the entire circumference of this pole.
