The Doulton Ceramic filter is one of the most effective water filters for passive water filtration systems. Each water filter is constructed with ultra-fine ceramic with a filtration efficiency of 0.9 microns absolute. Independent testing shows that Doulton ceramic filters are more
effective at reducing cryptosporidium than conventional block carbon
under similar conditions. Also Doulton filters have a high efficiency rating in reducing giardia (99.95% reduction), lead and chlorine. Lead and chlorine are also significantly reduced, as a result, providing safe, better tasting water for your family and pets.
