Geese recognize alert and alarm calls and respond instinctively to leave! Different calls occur in random combinations. Frequency, duration and intervals of the calls differ. With random sound combinations, sequences and speaker selections, the geese perceive many birds in many locations.
Nature Helps! New arrivals leave abruptly in a panic, encouraging original residents to leave as well. GooseBuster causes other birds to exhibit their alarm calls, giving geese a greater sense of danger.
Timer: Program sounds to coincide with arrival of geese
Programmable: Choose interval between calls
Speaker Sequencing: Imitates natural patterns of
Moving goose, looking around at disturbances;
Several agitated geese.
Random Play: Sounds are always changing, preventing acclimation.
Long term solutions: Stubborn and territorial, geese tend to return to the same area every year. Once scared off, these geese rarely return.
Coverage: One unit: 5-7 acres. Two units: 15-21 acres. Field tests show that a second unit increases coverage dramatically. This additive effect more than doubles the coverage (in fact it increases up to three times) reducing the per-acre cost significantly.
NOTE: ALL pest control or bird control methods prove more effective when different types of scare devices are used in combination. Products include light and sound repellers, roost inhibitors and visual scare devices.
