12V Recess Mounted Propane Detectors and Alarms
Safe-T-Alert propane monitors for RV use. 40-442 and 30-442 models mount flush with the wall of your RV, motor home or other vehicle. Propane gas alarms in RV's are required by law and good sense. Propane gas is heavier than air and settles at ground level near the propane using appliance. Test your Safe-T-Alert 40-442 gas detectors at least monthly. Shelf life is 10 years: once installed, units operate for 5 years before shutting down. Mark your calendar: replace before shut down.

12 Volt Flush Mounted Propane Gas Alarms and Propane Detectors
Safe-T-Alert models 40-442 and 30-442 mount recessed, i.e. into a hole in your RV or motor home wall. Screw holes, one on each side, for mounting. Working 12V gas alarms in RV's are required by law and common sense. Heavier than air propane settles at ground level near the propane using appliance. Test all Safe-T-Alert 40-442 gas detectors weekly or at minimum monthly. Shelf life after manufacture is 10 years. New codes require units shut down 5 years after installation.
