This attractively designed ELV weather station
forecaster can be completely set up and ready to use in just minutes. It displays
not only the weather data but also calculates the weather forecast for your immediate
area, registering wind speeds and rainfall. Other interesting information provided:
the current phase of the moon, sunrise and sunset times, weather trends, room climate
and more.
To find out quickly what the weather is going to be, all you have to do is look
at what kind of clothes Wiz Kid is wearing. Whether swim suit or scarf and umbrella,
the Wiz Kid has over 50 variations for dressing appropriately for the current outdoor
weather. As soon as it begins to rain and the sensor detects it, the Wiz Kid informs
you by appearing with an opened umbrella. You don't even have to look outside to
know. The large well-organized LCD, super flat and housed in the elegant silver-blue
base station, shows you all of the important weather data in graphic and numeric
formats when in normal mode. Other functions are easily accessed using only five
buttons.
Greatly contributing to the accuracy of the weather data is the E9301 radio combi-sensor
(included). It is fitted onto a mast that can be placed in the ground, working similarly
to professional devices used in industrial applications. For example the outdoor
temperature is measured in the same way as professional meteorologists (6 feet above
ground and shielded from sunlight).
In addition, the combi-sensor can be set up any place up to a distance of 300 ft.
from the base station without having to lay cables or drill holes. Optional Accessory
E9305: Up to 8 additional locations can be used to measure the temperature and relative
humidity using the E9305 Optional Sensor. The data is sent wirelessly via radio
to the weather station using low disturbance 433 MHz technology.

The anemometer measures wind speed and V.direction. The anemometer wind speed
- operating range is up to 125 miles per hour and has a accuracy resolution of +/-
(plus or minus) 0.4mph. In steady wind conditions, the anemometer transmits new
readings to the display unit once every minute. Wind V.direction operating range
is 0°F to 359°F. Data transmission to the display unit occurs every 14-seconds.

The Rain Gauge measures rainfall in millimeter increments reflecting current rainfall
or accumulation of up to nine (9) days’ history. The Rain Gauge features a
self-emptying collection unit. The rainfall measurement range is 0" to 39.97" per
hour with a cumulative operating range of 0" to 393.7". The rainfall accuracy resolution
is 1 mm (0.04"). Data to the display unit is updated every 47-seconds. The Rain
Gauge is powered by a solar cell with battery backup.

The new ELV handheld wind meter E9350 permits
not only a determination of the wind strength, but also a complex assessment of
the weather situation at any site. Its compact design and the innovative "packaging"
of the wind wheel make this wind gauge extremely portable. Stationary wind meters
are not always available when and where needed. A detailed knowledge of the local
weather situation is helpful when paragliding, sailing, surfing, kite flying, model
plane airfields and many other leisure activities.
Short-term changes can be understood more quickly using the analog bar graph display
rather than the digital display. The wind strength can be displayed in knots, km/h,
miles/h, m/s or Beaufort as desired, with the temperature either in °C or °F,
or alternatively as a wind chill equivalent (sensed temperature). This display enables
you to make a heat loss evaluation of the human body when subjected to wind, and
therefore helping to prevent hypothermia.
Operation of this hand held wind temperature device is simple with only two large
keys. The protective cap protects the wind wheel against damage in transport and
storage, yet can be used as a stand for the wind monitor when in use. Device has
auto shut off after 5 minutes.
