NOTE REQUIREMENTS: Operational Telephone Connection: Requires activated hard wired or cell phone. To Connect with a Cell Phone: Visit your cell phone service provider. Power Alert: Stops calling out when power comes back on. 4 hour rechargeable battery:Charges constantly while power is on. After-Sale Software Modifications for Home Temperature Monitors and Temperature Guards Available From Technical Support (No Charge, See Instruction Manual): DTA (Disable Temperature Annunciation) Mod: Enter PIN number before Temperature is announced. Power Outage Call-Out Waiting Time Mod: Set time is 5 minutes. Modify to range from zero (instantaneous) to 600 minutes (or never). Time between Alert Call-out Mod: Set time is every 20 minutes. Choose time you want, not zero or over 120 minutes. (If your answering machine is full or answering machine messages are erased, this keeps units sounding alerts as units cannot know that the answering machine is getting the message.) Celsius Mod: Temperature reading changed to C from F. Note: Unit announces only the degrees, not whether C or F.
