(Methane) Detector or Propane Detector (LP)
Easy Installation: GasAware combustible gas detector
plugs into any unswitched 120v AC wall outlet. No complicated wire-in installations
necessary.
Three Mounting Options:
- V.direct wall outlet.
- Mounted on the wall.
- Laid on a table or flat surface.
Four Indicator Lights:
- Power: Green Power light continuously on. Green flashes when operating on battery
backup.
- Alarm: Red
- Fault: Yellow.
- Battery: Yellow Battery light continuously flashes until the batteries are fully
charged (up to 10 hours). Yellow light continuously flashes if: Batteries not installed.
Non-rechargeable batteries are installed. Or batteries are in need of replacement.
85 Decibel Alarm: The CCI Gas Alarm sounds an
85 decibel alarm when the gas detected is approximately 20% of its lower flammable
level for propane or natural gas (depending on alarm purchased). An alarm sounds
about five times earlier than the point at which a gas concentration may reach a
combustible may become combustible at the site of the gas sensor.
Proven Sensor Technology: Gas Aware uses tin
dioxide gas sensors. These sensors are well-respected because of their reliability,
high sensitivity and longevity.
Mute and Self-Test Functions: To ensure the continued
safe operation of the alarm, Gas Aware allows testing of both the electronic circuitry
and the gas sensor.
Convenient 6' Power Cord: Plug into an AC outlet
and extend the cord for proper placement for use as a propane gas alarm or natural
gas alarm.
Backup Power System with Built-in Recharging Technology:
If the power fails, the GasAware gas monitor automatically reverts to a backup
power system using two AA rechargeable batteries. The rechargeable batteries can
provide backup power for up to 8 hours for propane gas and 10 hours for natural
gas. NOTE: Use only Rayovac AA Renewal (Rechargeable) batteries Warning: Use of
any other brand of battery or rechargeable battery can cause unit malfunctioning.
GasAware recharges batteries once AC power is restored. Two Rayovac rechargeable
batteries are included.
UL Listed: Listed to ANSI/UL 1484 as a residential
gas detector.
5 year Limited Manufacturer's Warranty.
