The Watts Up PRO Digital Electric Meter with USB Interface is Made in USA . This power meter and power analyzer has 16 different displays, computer software and PC interface, automatic data graphing and a payback calculator for new appliances.
This Batch Data Download Lets You Audit a Day or More of Energy Usage. Now Optional Real Time Software Upgrade Available: Constant Real-Time Download Notifies You of Line Voltage Dips or Demand Load Increases.
Watts Up? PRO data logger function records all data into non-volatile memory. Data is not lost if power goes out . One thousand twenty-three data points are stored.
Initial sampling rate resolution is one second. Sample rate resolution increases over time (sample rate equals total time divided by 1023).
Accurately record years of electrical usage. Spreadsheet calculator used to determine logging intervals
based on how long you are logging. For instance, the calculator. gives an interval between data will be 1 hour, 8 minutes and 16 seconds if you have logged data for 6 weeks.
Create a data table with easily manipulated graphs. Connect RS232 port to a PC.
Export data and graphs to popular spreadsheet and word processor programs for further analysis.
The PRO also records any power interruptions helpful when auditing several devices. In addition, the
Pro is capable of real time logging. The communication protocol is fully documented in the help file, including a list of commands required for real-time logging using other software.

Watts Up? PRO Specifications:
Internal Memory for 1,023 Records.
State-Of-The-Art Microprocessor Digital Design
120 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 amps continuous: Below 60 watts, amps and power factor lose accuracy.
RMS stands for Root Mean Square, and it is the most basic term for representing power output.
True RMS power measured and displayed
+/- 3%, +/- 2 counts of the displayed value for loads above 10 watts
+/- 5%, +/- 3 counts of the displayed value for loads below 10 watts Accuracy is of displayed valuse, not the range. Some
devices claim a smaller number for accuracy but it refers to the range. For
instance, a specification of 0.2% of the range sounds good, but it is actually
3.6% of the display (.02 * 1800 = 3.6), which is a worse accuracy.
RS232 Interface. (USB to RS232 Adapter NOT Included).
included Cable (connects to the PC USB port)
Software download included of most recent software version. See manual.
Power Cycle.
Main supply voltage fluctuations not to exceed +/- 10% of the nominal voltage
Adjustable Rate: enter from $0.001 to $2.00 per kilowatt hour, in tenths of a penny
Input is via 6' electric cord, output is via outlet on top of meter
UL listed: Standard UL 610010-1, and CAN CAS/C22.2 61010-1.
Altitude: up to 2000 meters
Temperature: 50 C to 400 C
Maximum relative humidity: 80% for temperatures up to 310 C decreasing linearly to 50% relative humidity at 400 C
Installation Category II

*Some
inverters have extremely fast rise times and can damage the electronics.
The .Net is recommended if using with an inverter.
* Some loads
and environments cause excessive noise, which can corrupt calibration
data thus leading to erroneous data. This is typically not a problem.
But especially for industrial studies where the data is critical, we
highly recommend the .Net. This model has significant hardware and
software improvements to reduce the likelihood of errors.
Warranty: 12 months from date of purchase by manufacturer.
Note: Watts Up units are returnable only for replacement by manufacturer if deemed defective.
