Automatic Water Valve for Damage Control
Protection against water damage for homes or businesses means installing water moisture sensors and automatic water shut off devices. If you have a newer home and larger water pipes into your home, choose the Water Cop automatic water valve actuator with security alarm interface and a 1.25 Inch brass ball valve. This kit, sometimes called the "Sergeant" includes 3 moisture sensors that signal via radio to the actuator and shut off water flow almost instantly.

| Leak Detection Sensor Specifics: |
- Sensor probe contacts: gold-plated for reliability.
- Frequency; 400 - 500 MHz. At trade shows, there was no interference with other FM frequencies.
- Change communication codes: Dip switches on sensors and receivers. 4 switches; 48 possible codes means 48 possible zones with additional WaterCop valves.
- Battery Life: Alkaline about 1 year. Titanium, about 2 years.
- Low battery: units "chirp."

- Manual override for closed valve. If power fails, unscrew and remove water valve actuator and turn valve stem with wrench 1/4 turn.
