Know When Sump Pump Fails
Often you don't know when your sump pump fails until the water floods your basement. Now you can be alerted when a sump overflows or a bath tub is full or when an aquarium begins to overflow. Add this optional sump water level alarm attachment to the Water Alarm™ by Gizmode. (Note, the Gizmode is NOT included)
- How It Works: Terminal clips (2) slide onto two Water Alarm™ sensor feet nearest 9 volt battery contacts of Water Alarm™
- Suggested applications: sump overflow warning, bath tub fill alert, aquarium overflow alert or hot tub fill alert.
- Testing: After installation of wires, lower the plastic sensor at least one inch into a container of water. Alarm should sound within 5 seconds or less. If no alarm sounds, test the Water Alarm™ unit. If the Water Alarm™ tests okay, then check the installation of the connective wires. If alarm does not sound, return unit to dealer for replacement. of each connector on the bottom of the Water Alarm™ .
- Placement of the Water Alarm™: Anywhere within the range of the overflow adapter wires.
- Connector wire length: 5.5 ft. long to overflow adapter sensor.
- Construction: Corrosion-proof stainless steel and acrylic.
- Warranty: 1 year limited manufacturer's warranty.
