If you need to mount a child gate and do not want to put screw holes into wood, buy these wood gate mounting clamps and save your woodwork. Securely mount child safety gatesby Cardinal Gates to square posts 3.75" or narrower in width. Use 2 sets of clamps for each wooden post. (Usually one set at the top and one set at the bottom.) Child gate mounting clamp options: 2 round, 2 square or 1 round with 1 square.
Each wood mount is 5 inches long by 1.5 inches wide. There are two pieces of wood per set. One piece of wood is .5 inches thick and the other is 7/8 inches thick. There are two 4.5 inch long bolts with washers that screw screw through the holes at the top and the bottom of the wood clamp pieces.
This is one set. Stain the hardwood to match the gate or wood post or paint if desired.
