Sensaphone IMS-1000 Single Room Monitoring Solution IMS-1001 is the newest internet-enabled addition
remote monitor system in the Sensaphone IMS series of products. IMS stands for
Infrastructure Monitor System . This
monitoring system does require an ethernet network in order to operate without a land telephone line. Up to eight external sensors can be connected to the IMS-1000 to monitor a variety of environmental conditions. An
alarm condition is generated whenever any
environmental sensor goes out of range. The IMS-1000 will then initiate its alarm notification process following the programmed list of people to be notified.
E-mails can be sent describing the alarm condition. If network (IP) cameras are installed, the e-mails can even contain one or more attached images captured from the video camera.
The IMS-1000 is designed for high reliability with no moving parts. It is completely standalone with its own internal battery backup system. All programming and status information are available through its internal web server. In addition to the web server, the IMS-1000 is fully SNMP manageable. The IMS-1000 solution can effectively monitor the most critical conditions in server rooms or data center. A voice version of the IMS-1000 is available if you want to receive custom voice alarm calls or call in for voice status reports. alert you when the AC
power has failed. Programming is done through an easy-to-use web interface, and sensors are automatically identified by the unit for even further ease-of-installation.
