The extremely flat step-on surface and the automatically lowered ramp make it easy for wheelchairs to move onto the scale. The side rails also provide security.
While the integrated Pre-TARE function determines the patient's net weight within seconds, the HOLD function will display the weight a few seconds longer even after leaving the scale. The large LCD and swiveling display at the wheelchair user's eye level, make it convenient for both patient and nursing staff to read off the weight. Optional SmartCard Station. When Seca 664 is equipped with a Smartcard station several wheelchair weights can be stored and recognized, so that only the patients' weight will be shown. The station will automatically subtract the individual wheelchair weight if a Smartcard is inserted. The Smartcard can be kept on the wheelchair itself in a card holder. Using as many cards as you wish, it is then possible to take the different weights of different wheelchairs into account.
