This explosive gas monitorfor natural gas or propane gas will sense and then control dangerous gas build-up in a building or private home by turning off the gas to the protected gas appliance. The Safety First USA Gas Valve Controller deactivates and shuts off a Scentry gas valve (not included) if an unsafe condition occurs. The gas sensor and the controller are in one box. There is no option for a battery back-up. And you must supply your own external 24 volt transformer plus the gas valve. There is a built in alarm that is 90db in volume. Gas valve automatically closes when the power goes off.
