Use this 1 inch diaphragm type gas valve with any of the Scentry gas detector systems , ie. the SFGVC, GFRAB and the GFA unit (not included). This is a UL listed gas valve shut off that when used with the Scentry III-GFRAB home gas detector for natural gas and propane and the Scentry III-SFGVC automatic gas valve controller (not included) will protect your home or building from gas explosions or fires from gas leaks.
This is an electrically operated gas shut off valve that opens and closes on a demand signal from a thermostat or other controlling device. Can be used with both natural gas and LP gas at pressures up to 0.5 psi. This White Rodgers replacement is a compression spring closing and soft seat construction gas valve.
