Use this .75 inch diaphragm type lp or natural gas valve shut off with any Scentry III unit, ie. the SFGVC, GFRAB and the GFA unit (not included). This is a UL listed gas valve that when used with the Scentry III-GFRAB or Scentry III-GFA home gas detector for natural gas and propane and the Scentry III-SFGVC gas valve controller (not included) will protect your home or building from gas explosions or fires from gas leaks.
This is an electrically operated gas shut off valve that opens and closes on a demand signal from a thermostat or other controlling device. Can be used with both natural gas and LP gas at pressures up to 0.5 psi. The White Rodgers replacement is a compression spring closing and soft seat construction gas valve.
