Use this case of 6 diaphragm type 3/4 inch gas valves with natural gas or propane gas appliances and any Scentry gas detector system. This lp or natural gas valve shut off is UL listed. When used with the Scentry III-GFRAB or Scentry III-GFA (not included) home gas detector for natural gas and propane and the Scentry III-SFGVC gas valve controller (not included), the gas valve helps protect homes or other buildings from gas explosions or fires from gas leaks.
This electrically operated gas shut off valve opens and closes on a demand signal from a thermostat or other controlling device. Can be used with both natural gas and LP gas at pressures up to 0.5 psi. The White Rodgers replacement is a compression spring closing and soft seat construction gas valve.
