This is a non-functioning fire hood that utilizes the same fire hood as used in the CE approved PurifyAir 60M CE fire hood. Packaged in a soft case, this training hood had no filter media in the filter. Do not use this in case of a fire. Note: Picture shown is of the PurifyAir 30M CE hood. The protective face cover was removed for purposes of the picture. The smoke hood for all Safe Escape PurifyAir units is identical. Minimum Purchase: 10 Units.
Directions for training use:
Stay calm. Open the box, take out the hood.
Unfold it and pull out the two plugs from the front and back filter cartridge opening. Discard the container and the stoppers.
Push the filter out of the hood with both thumbs, spread the hood and pull it over the head.
Eye glass wearers need not remove
them. Push long hair under the hood grip the mask at the filter
canister and position it correctly over the mouth and nose. Then tighten the
straps by pulling them backwards and to the side.
Breath calmly and follow
the route to the emergency exit, if this is not possible, wait for fire
rescuers to arrive, make yourself noticeable by knocking and or
appearing at a window.
After use, clean with disinfectant or alcohol to reduce risks of contamination for next user.
