Emergency Training Hood Has NO Filter Media Uses ASE30BR/ASE60BR Hood
Non-functional Safe Escape's ASE30BR-NBC Escape Hood or ASE60BR hood for training purposes has no chemicals in the filter canister. A filter canister could be added to this hood: however, that would require sending the hood back to the factory in China. We recommend that the fire/safety trainer lock these smoke hoods in a secure location so no one tries to use one in the event of a fire or gas accident. Minimum purchase is a case of 10.
Directions for use:
Stay calm. Open the box, take out the hood.
Unfold it and pull out the two plugs from the front and back filter opening discard the container and the stoppers.
Push the filter out of the hood with both thumbs, spread the hood and pull it over the head.
Eye glass wearers need not remove
them. Do push long hair under the hood grip the mask at the filter
canister and position it correctly over the mouth and nose. Then tighten
the straps by pulling them backwards and to the side.
Breath calmly and follow the
route to the emergency exit, if this is not possible, wait for firemen
to arrive, make yourself noticeable by knocking and or appearing at the
window.
Use only for training purposes. After training, sanitize the units and store in a secure location. These are packed in soft cases.
