Safe-T-Alert 30-442-AL gas alarm is a recess mounted (flush mount) propane alarm that replaces any CCI Controls propane alarm in the 7770 series, including the 7770.231 brown model and the 7773.081,231,151 and 251 units.*(See below for installation notes.) This essential RV accessory , the Safe-T-Alert propane alarm , needs testing several times a month when you test your carbon monoxide monitor. Propane safetyrequires both propane and carbon monoxide alarms. Cannot replace CCI-7719 gas alarm because that unit requires a Safe-T-Alert unit with a gas valve.

Test/Reset Button: Mute alarm during ventilation. Tests all detector functions with one touch. No dangerous gas required.

Important Note for CCI Replacements: This unit can be installed both vertically and horizontally. Use butt connectors to replace spade connectors. *Some CCI units installed in Fleetwood and Winnebago RV's have two power leads (7773.081, 773.231, 773.151 and 773.251. Safe-T-Alert units have only one power lead. Connect the red power lead to the coach power supply and cap or remove the other power lead.
