Please Remember: Carbon monoxide detectors sense carbon monoxide, produced by incomplete burning of fossil fuels like gas, wood, coal, etc.. Carbon monoxide alarms do not protect against raw gas leaks (either natural gas or propane). Install a natural gas alarm or propane alarm near each gas appliance for family safety against fires or explosions from gas leaks.

CO poisoning is not limited to faulty furnaces. Faulty gas fired water heaters, fireplaces, cooking and heating stoves, or faulty vents from these appliances also can poison you.

Safe-T-Alert carbon monoxide alarms are UL Listed to UL 2034-2003 for Residential and Unconditioned Areas, including May 14, 2003 & Nov. 14, 2003 revisions. Operating on 110 VAC, alarms use a line cord, directly plug-in, or directly hard wire.
