Our 2800 mAh AA battery is among the highest capacity Ni-Mh rechargeable batteries available. Ni-Mh (nickel metal hydride) batteries do not exhibit "memory" problems of traditional Ni-Cad batteries. These Ni-Mh batteries can be recharged hundreds of times and are more eco-friendly than single-use alkaline batteries. Typical number of recharges is about 500.
These NiMh batteries are custom made for SafeHome®. These cost a little more than our regular AA batteries ( NiMH-AA-2800 ), but tests have shown that these batteries give higher quality for high load, high drain usage. They are suitable for use in both low and high drain devices, including digital cameras, wireless keyboard mouses, etc. These AA batteries are also compatible with most chargers.
Question: How long does a charge last? Answer: Safe Home Products' flashlight test: placed two completely charged batteries in an inexpensive plastic two AA battery flashlight and turned the flashlight on. The flashlight shined brightly for 65 minutes before beginning to dim.
