The Safe Escape ASE60BR Escape Hood is light weight, portable and easy to use. This smoke escape hood is a disposable, single use product designed for self rescue in the event of a fire or toxic gas release. This smoke hood can protect the wearer for a minimum of 60 minutes from smoke, carbon monoxide, and many toxic gases normally present during a fire. This Safe Escape chem-bio-smoke-fire gas hood prodvides respiratory, head and eye protection that facilitates evacuation from hazardsous fire and toxic gas atmospheres. The flame resistant hood can protect your head from hot burning ash or direct flame up to 1800 Degrees F during fire escape, particularly in factories, oil, gas or chemical facilities as well as in high rise hotels, office and apartment buildings.
NOTE: TSA regulations about carrying a smoke hood on board a commercial airliner vary. We understand TSA may not permit a passenger to take this unit on board.
The ASE60BR meets requirements of EN403-2004, EN 153-2000, EN 14387-2004, EN 14941-1998 a, EN 12942L: 1998 and Q (HJ)GA01-2003.

Directions for use:
Stay calm. Open the box, take out the hood.
Unfold it and pull out the two plugs from the front and back filter opening discard the container and the stoppers.
Push the filter out of the hood with both thumbs, spread the hood and pull it over the head.
Spectacle wearers need not remove them, push long hair under the hood grip the mask at the filter canister and position it correctly over the mouth and nose, tighten the straps by pilling them backwards and to the side.
Breath calmly and follow the route to the emergency exit, if this is not possible, wait for the Fire Bridge to arrive, make yourself noticeable by knocking and or appearing at the window.
