Research shows that Octenol Mosquito Attractant can increase catch rates of no-see-ums by 3 to 4 times. Please note: The cartridge containing the mosquito attractant will not dissolve. However, the Octenol Mosquito Attractant is effective for 21 days as it slowly evaporates. After 21 days, replace attractant according to instructions. A package of 2 octenol cartridges lasts up to 42 days. Octenol attractant consists of a wax blend (to hold consistency in the cartridge) with 1-Octen-3-ol (an alcohol based fragrance).
