Use the antrum syringe for nasal irrigation or to administer an enema. Note: If the syringe's initial use is for nasal irrigation, do not use for an enema. If the initial use is to administer an enema, do not reuse for nasal irrigation. Two tips are supplied: use the small roundish tip for nasal irrigation or the long narrow tip to administer an enema.
To Use:
1. Insert the tip into the open end of the syringe.
2. Make sure it fits tightly into the rubber hose 3. Immerse the end with the metal check valve into the solution. Press the bulb and release several times in rapid succession. The solution will discharge from the tip. CAUTION: Solution will flow freely from the syringe if the tip is turned downward or if tip is lower than the solution bowl. To prevent spillage, always face tip upwards and above the solution bowl.
WARNINGS: Do not use excessive force when squeezing the bulb, as this may cause the in-line check valve to move or the tip to shoot out of the tubing, which may result in personal injury. Immediately replace the Atrum Syringe if the rubber stretches causing the tip to shoot out or the in-line check valve to move.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE: Do not take syringe apart for cleaning. Simply, rinse the syringe in lukewarm water. Do not boil syringe or soak in a solution as is may damage the rubber.Soft rubber finish. One-piece construction.
