MiracleAir HEPA Filtration System Operation Air contaminated with dirt, dust, smoke and pollen is forced through three air filters in a three (3) stage filtering process:
FIRST STAGE: The impregnated, activated carbon pre-filter traps large particles like dust and pet hairs, protecting the HEPA filter and extending its life.
SECOND STAGE: 82 Square Feet of hospital grade HEPA filter removes up to 99.97% of the smaller 0.3 sub-micron particles not captured by the pre-filter. The HEPA filter lasts up to 5 years.
THIRD STAGE: The 15 pound* carbon/potassium permanganate air filter removes odors, gases, chemical, toxins and vapors (i.e. formaldehyde, benzene, toluene, xylene, etc.). CP air filters last from 1 to 5 years depending on the environment where it is used. (*12 pounds of activated carbon, 3 pounds of alumina potassium permanganate.)
The MiracleAir HEPA filter system utilizes 3 separate air filters. Change each filter independent of the others as required.
Fan motor uses a long life PSC (permanent split capacitor) with sealed bearings. This design makes the Miracle Air purifier twice as efficient as standard motors.
