Scat mat is an electronic dog training device using static electricity created in a plastic floor mat when a dog or cat touches the mat. Scat mat safely, effectively and harmlessly trains pets to stay away from areas you want to protect. Keep dogs out of a room, keep dogs off furniture or keep cats off a counter or table by laying a scatmat as a cover or barrier. Pets learn quickly to stay back.
Train a cat or train a dog to have good house manners. Keep animals off furniture, off counter tops or out of selected rooms. Scat Mat discharges a mild, harmless static pulse when touched. Pets soon learn which parts of your home they should avoid. Three intensity levels are for different sizes of cat and dogs.
Use Scat Mat along with normal training techniques and surface cleaning for elimination behavior changes. Note from BLS: One of my Boston Terriers used to sneak upstairs and leave deposits on the landing when it was cold outside. Once the stairs were covered with Scat Mats, this problem was solved.
