Made in USA by Rittenhouse Industries, each crutch cover is made from Merino sheep wool that is sliver-knit to a polyester backing and processed to withstand gentle machine washing. The crutch covers and pads feel like sheepskin clipped to a one inch length. Lambswool is a naturally disinfecting fiber so heat is not needed for disinfection.
