The LifeSource UA-767PVS is an automatic blood pressure monitor for smaller arms. According to LifeSource, this digital blood pressure monitoris not FDA approved nor tested on children under age 18. Some physicians suggest use at home as a way to measure consistencies of readings between blood pressure readings done at medical facilities. The child's arm would have to be no less than 6.3 inches in circumference. Note: To get a fairly accurate reading, the child would have to sit perfectly still in a quiet area after a minimum of 15 minutes to 30 minutes' time lapse between exercise such as recess activity.
