Koolatron Cat and Dog Repeller , A Passive InfraRed Motion Sensor Animal Repeller
Keep out dogs and cats from garden, garage, garbage and yard. This passive infra-red motion sensor (PIR Sensor) activated outdoor animal repellent device uses ultrasonic sirens to get rid of cats and dogs. The Lentek Cat and Dog Repeller CD01 by Koolatron is 9 Volt battery powered and uses ultrasonic repellant technology.
For best results, mount the Koolatron brand animal repeller at a height no greater than 3 feet and place as close as possible to the area to be protected. Simple to use. Protects up to 85 feet away at a 70 degree range around the ultrasound animal control unit.
Note: This unit is motion activated. Battery life is determined by the number of times the unit picks up motion and triggers the ultrasound. Two 9V alkaline batteries should last up to 2000 ultrasonic bursts. Remember that motion from people or objects like bicycles, cars, etc. within the range of this unit will also trigger the ultrasound . For that reason, we do not recommend this unit be placed along streets or sidewalks.
