Note: 24 hour charge before first use gives optimum performance. Safety interlock at the Bug Vac base disables the high voltage grid when the tube is removed.
Use instructions: Charge for 24 hours prior to first use. Telescope tube assembly for optimum length. Activate by pushing on/off button at base of hand unit. Place capture tip over insect to vacuum it up. Some insects may need a gentle nudge to dislodge from the surface. Allow Bug Vac to run 10 to 15 seconds after capture to assure exposure the the high voltage grid. Empty by turning unit off. If you prefer to release the insect out of doors, do not put detachable tube all the way down on the base. This leaves the safety interlocks open, disabling the high voltage grid.
