Attach this wider, longer edge padding to the three telescoping metal frame pieces to childproof the front of standard rectangular fire place hearths. The metal frame means no sticky adhesive residue on bricks or stones if you remove the hearth guard. The metal frame also means easy removal and reinstallation for cleaning.
Kids Edge Hearth Guard Pads provide fire-resistant, non-toxic, dense, impact absorbent padding to prevent injuries from falls against sharp corners and edges of hearths. Gray pad blends with most brick, stone, marble, and slate surfaces.

Patented sturdy telescoping three part metal frame: Two end pieces expand from 8 to 18 inches. One center piece expands from 54 to 78 inches. with lab tested fire resistant pad.
Safe, dense, impact-absorbing non-toxic, lab tested fire resistant padding: 2 3/8" x 2 3/8" lip for better protection. Pads will smolder, not burn.
Easy application and removal: Pad is fastened with adhesive to a metal frame which clamps firmly to hearth. No adhesive residue on hearth itself.
Cleaning Ease: durable, easily cleaned padding. Remove entire unit for cleaning the slate or brick hearth.
Color: Gray. Available in black, ivory or brown in lengths to fit up to 78 inch wide hearth front. Taupe is available for up to a 92 inch hearth front.
Optional Length Extension : 24 inches includes metal frame and padding.
