The GA5890 with 4 bars will protect up to 21.5 inches of open window when correctly installed. Add window stops to keep window from opening more. The windowguard extends from 58 to 90 inches. Screens are not strong enough to protect children. These window guards remove for cleaning the window yet increase child safety, too.
Guardian Angel window guards are egress (escape) window guards designed for safety not for home security. In an emergency, an adult or older child pushes 2 button locks on one side and then two button locks on the other side of the protective bars. The window guard can then be completely removed. Window guards remove easily from inside or outside a window.
Guardian Angel II window guards are made from strong, steel tubing powder coated with a durable, lead-free white paint. For baby and child safety, install window guards on any window more than 12 feet above ground level, windows 2nd through 6th story, or at any level where a child could fall or climb through an open window. Window screens are not strong enough to keep children safe from window falls.
