Organic Taste Aversion Product Repels Geese
Spray this Fruit Shield , Bird Shield , Goose Chase biodegradable, food-grade taste aversion agent on dry grass, vegetables, fruit trees and more. Helps to get rid of geese and birds that destroy your property, create unsightly conditions and cause significant economic losses by destroying crops. Goose Chase is made from a bitter tasting, smelly part of concord grapes (active
ingredient methyl anthranilate). Geese and most birds find the grass and other food sources inedible. Also use Goose Chaser in non-fishbearing bodies of water, nests, roosting areas, temporary
pools of standing water at airports, and decorative fountains. Get rid
of geese. NOT recommended for unsealed porous stone, vinyl siding,
insulation and plastics.
Note: Ingredients are identical to those in Bird Shield Liquid.
How does it work? Geese leave treated areas for better food sources. The effectiveness is long-term, as geese cannot habituate to the taste. - Renders food sources unpalatable to geese for long-term.
- Spray 60 gallons of mixture (1-2 gallons of Goose Chase plus water) per acre into dry grass.
- Reapply every 7-14 days
- Non-toxic, biodegradable, made from grapes
Is it environmentally friendly? Yes.
- EPA "reduced risk"
- Biodegradable
- USDA development assistance
- Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS)
- Alternative to lethal methods
