Propane Leak Detector For Home Safety

Choose this propane gas alarm if you live in Europe, Asia or other countries that use 220V AC to 230V AC power. That gas smell in your house may be a dangerous gas leak that could explode or cause a house fire. The CCI GasAware propane gas alarm with the 230VAC Euro plug (two rounded prongs) includes a built-in 8 hour battery back-up. The gas monitor warns of propane gas leaks before gas fumes build to an explosive or flammable level. This 230V AC combustible gas detector improves home safety for those who heat, cook or dry clothes with lp gas . For safety install a gas alarm near the base of every propane gas using appliance such as furnaces, water heaters and clothes dryers. This gas detector with alarm installs directly into an unswitched AC outlet or the cord can be extended to hang on a wall or place on a table. This CCI Gas Alarm cannot be hardwired into 230VAC.

Note: Carbon monoxide alarms have sensors specific to carbon monoxide. They cannot detect raw propane or natural gas. You need a detector with a combustible gas specific sensor. Avoid gas explosions or fires ignited by gas leaks. Don't rely on your sense of smell: a strong mercaptan odor or absence of odor don't mean danger or safety.
