Use Tan Safety Padding on Exposed Poles Inside or Outside Buildings
This protective pole padding is 11/16" thick and fits poles up to 2 1/8" inches in diameter or 6.6 inches in circumference. Child proofing exposed poles in basements, soccer goals and more is easier. This is a package of four sticks of UV resistant padding. Each stick of padding is 48" long. Use more than 1 stick to cover larger areas. For posts taller than 48 inches high, stack sticks one above the other for childproofing . Or match back-to-back to protect larger posts. This flexible pole padding safety proofs support beams, pillars, goal posts, basketball poles and much more.
How to Install: Simply cut along precored cut to open the pole padding and then use heavy-duty cable ties (included) to secure around the pole or apply permanently with glue such as Liquid Nails.
How High Do You Want to Cover? Use a metal measuring tape to decide how tall your pole is and whether a 48 inch length is tall enough to meet your needs.
How Many Pole Pads Are Needed to Cover the Circumference of the Pole? Use a tailor's measuring tape to measure the circumference (distance around the outside) of the pole. Then determine the diameter to judge how many pads will cover all or most of that pole. Note: To determine the diameter, take the number of inches of circumference and divide by 3.14. Example, the circumference of the pole is 7 inches. The circumference is 7 divided by 3.14 or 2.23 inches. One pad will cover almost the entire circumference of this pole.
