To place a Flood Stop moisture sensor activated water shut off valve unit near a clothes washer, icemaker, water dispensing refrigerator, etc. a low voltage Transformer Extension wire may be required as these appliances are not always near an accessible 120VAC electrical outlet. In such cases, add our low-voltage Transformer Extension Wire(s) to reach the nearest outlet.
The transformer extension wire for the 2007 model Flood Stop units is 9 feet long and white so that using this extension wire is both simple and unobtrusive. Join multiple Floodstop transformer extension wires together to reach more distant electrical outlets. Another option is to power your New Generation Flood Stop water alarm and automatic water valve unit with 4 C cell batteries.
