The Flood Stop FS3/4H-90 for washing machines has two 3/4 inch hose threaded motorized ball valves with 90 degree downward brass outlets. Water damage control from hot and cold water intakes. A water leak sensor signals the FloodStop to shut off both intakes when a water leak is detected under your washer. A loud water alarm sounds an alert. Use also on home dialysis machines.

Only water to the washing machine is shut off. This "Point-of-Use" system is a do-it-yourself project that takes minutes to install.
To install, connect the two Floodstop Valves to the hot and cold water supply lines. Mount control unit to wall. Place sensor(s) on floor. Units are operated by either by 120 vAC adapter (included), Batteries OR BOTH!
NOTE: DO NOT PLACE SENSOR DIRECTLY ON METAL PAN OR DAMP FLOOR. If
no water is present and sensor sounds alarm, that means there is
moisture from the floor making a complete circuit of sensor and unit.
Place a cloth under sensor to "insulate" against dampness of floor or
metal of pan. Once the paper or cloth gets wet, the sensor will activate
the shut-off and sound the alarm. Sensor will sound if placed on metal.
Caution: Hand
tighten the washing machine hoses. If you use a wrench or over-tighten
the hoses, you may cause the rubber/plastic gasket to distort causing
leaking from the washer hoses.
