Floodcheck replacement clothes washer hoses help prevent costly water
damage in homes, apartments, condominiums. Each washing machine hose is
tested to 1700 psi. The warranty: 20 years or the life of the washing
machine, whichever comes first. Insurance estimates: broken washer
pressure hoses annually cause over 100 million dollars in damages plus
unreported losses, lost time and lost productivity.
Why Are Flood Check Washing Machine Hoses Superior to Standard or Steel Covered Hoses ? About 70 pounds of water pressure constantly stresses washing machine hoses. Flood Check hoses can handle this stress. Instead of a single rubber tube or a rubber tube covered with flexible metal, our Flood Check hoses have these 5 layers:
traditional rubber tube
1st layer of 23# braided rayon reinforcement
2nd layer of 23# braided rayon reinforcement
a .012"-gauge rubber jacket and
a .063"-gauge rubber cover.
Why are Flood Check Washer Hose Couplings Superior?
Our couplings are non-corroding solid brass couplings. Both ends are
3/4" female hose thread. These heavy duty couplings eliminate most
drips or floods, which start at the couplings.
Simple to Install: Shut off hot and cold water valves. Install red
hose for hot water hose and blue hose for cold water. Hand tighten.
Then use pliers to tighten nut 1/4 to 1/2 turn. Do not over tighten.
Floodchek Logo goes on washer or shutoff side.
