This spike adhesive is more convenient and faster than nails to attach bird spikes to wood, concrete, brick or metal surfaces. This RTV silicone rubber spike adhesive also attaches bird nettingto concrete, brick or steel.
This is a high quality, one-part moisture-cure sealant that dries to a 100% rubber solid. The Temperature Range is -115 degrees F to 305 degrees F. Conventional paints will not adhere to this adhesive sealant. Project 1 remains flexible and waterproof. The durability is rated by the manufacturer as 50 years. The non-flammable water-based adhesive can be used on damp surfaces. Bird-X tested many adhesives before determining that this works the best with bird spike and bird netting installation. One 10 ounce cartridge applied with a standard 10 inch caulking gun will generate a bead that will affix approximately 20 feet of bird spikes. This package contains five (5) cartridges which will affix about 100 feet of spikes.
