Water resistant. Note: remove Doctor Frog™ when you water your plant. Re-insert afterwards. Avoid immersing Doctor Frog™ in water even briefly.

Battery Life: up to 1 year with normal use. If the audible alarm is neglected for many hours or days, battery life is reduced.
Monitors soil conductivity as the water in your plant's soil is absorbed. Once conductivity falls below a pre-set optimum level, soft intermittent croaking begins.
Light sensing circuitry silences Doctor Frog™ at night or in darkness.
Croaks for 3 seconds every 10 seconds.
Note: Clean probes as needed with steel wool to maintain a shiny finish. A shiny finish prevents premature alarms.
