CWR-DC1UC Double Crown Fluoride and Ceramic Filters Under Counter Water Filter
The CWR-DC1UC under counter water filter model includes Ceramic + Fluoride
Removal + VOC reduction filters. These
water filters reduce microbiological, chemical,
chlorine, turbidity, heavy metals, bad taste, odor, fluoride and, industrial
chemicals. Included are a standard long reach chrome faucet and hook up
accessories. Replacement filters for this unit: RF-IMPUC + RF-IMPFL
+RF-CB5
. Note:The Ultraviolet & Fluoride upgrades are not available for shipment to CA, IA, WI & MA. Four Stages of Double Crown Water Filtration Microfiltration: Stages 1 & 2: Ceramic and Non Leachable Silver Ceramic
provides a physical barrier to trap and eliminate parasites (like
cryptosporidium and giardia), dirt, rust, and sediment and turbidity.
A minute amount of non leachable silver is baked into the ceramic to
inhibit bacteria from growing in the filter. The ceramic can be
lightly brushed off to removie surface sediment to restore the flow of
water.
Stage 3: Activated Carbon High density activated block carbon reduces chlorine, chemicals, bad taste, odor, and many other toxic contaminants.
Stage 4: Heavy Metal Removal Compound A special heavy metal removing compound protects you from lead and heavy metals @ 150 ppb.
