Crown Double Under Counter Water System Ceramic Plus Alkalizer Filter
Install this Crown Twin Cartridge CWR-DC9UC water filters to reduce a wide range of contaminants including: microbiological, chemical, chlorine, turbidity, heavy metals, bad taste and odor. This double filtration unit is compact and is attached to the cold water line under your sink. The system has both a ceramic filter and an alkalizer filter. PLUMBING AND INSTALLATION ARE REQUIRED FOR UNDER COUNTER MODELS
The Crown Double Countertop Imperial Ceramic + Alkalizer Cartridge Filter Filter has an Alkalizer second cartridge to infuse normal calcium carbonate and magnesium minerals into the water to raise the pH and alkalinity. For use after RO (Reverse Osmosis) units or in soft or acidic water. Included are a standard long reach chrome faucet and hook up accessories.
The CWR-DC9UC Ceramic Filter has Three Stages:
First Stage:a Bentonite Kieselguhr ceramic that filters out
parasites, bacteria, rust, dirt and sediment from the water. A small
amount of silver baked into the ceramic inhibits the growth of bacteria.
Second Stage: activated coconut shell carbon which reduces chlorine, chemicals, pesticides, bad taste and odors.
Third
Stage: heavy metal removing compound, which is incorporated in the
carbon block called A.T.S. (titanium zeolite) that reduces lead and
copper.
Specifications
The housing is made of medical grade-ABS plastic.
The flow rate of the ceramic filter is 1.5 gpm (gallons per minute) at 45 psi and the filter is effective up to 1,200 gallons.
