9V Battery Back-Up 12V CO Alarm for RV Connects to House and Engine Batteries
Be protected from dangerous carbon monoxide gas even if your 12V coach batteries are disconnected. This UL listed and CSA 6.19-01 listed recreational vehicle carbon monoxide alarm connects both to the RV house battery and to the RV engine battery. Power is drawn from the battery with the highest voltage. The replaceable 9 volt alkaline battery back-ups when coach batteries are disconnected. Replace the 9 volt battery every 12 months minimum. This carbon monoxide detector features a solid state infrared carbon monoxide gas sensor .

Signals:
Normal operation: Red LED flashes every 30 seconds as power indicator. Alarm condition: Flashing red LED continuous with an 85 db alarm pulsing 2 seconds on; 4 seconds off. After 4 minutes, the alarm again sounds until the unsafe CO level is reduced. Trouble/service: Detector self tests every 10 minutes. Fault indicator: Beep and test button flashes twice every 30 seconds. Test: One chirp, red light flashes 4 to 5 times followed by 2 alarm signals.
