These Owls are from foreign wood known as monkey-pod or jackfruit wood. These are not finished because when played the finish would rub off. The wood is kiln dried and do not contain any chemicals. These Owls are played using a striker that when rubbed against the rivits in the side it mimicks the sound of a Owl.
