This yellow jacket trap measures 8.5 inches high and 3.5 inches in diameter. Wasps or yellow jackets are lured into the trap through either end of a one inch diameter tube located about 4 inches from the top. Best results are by hanging the lure inside the jar, placing the bait into the bottom of the trap and then adding 4 oz of apple juice, 4 oz of water and 2 drops of liquid dish soap. Hang the trap away from people where wasps are present. Empty the trap as required. Replace the bait, apple juice, water and liquid dish soap. The lid screws off. Replace the lure every two weeks.
