Replace the air filtersin your Amaircare 2500(not included) or Amaircare 2550 HEPA air cleaners (not included) regularly to keep your portable air cleaners giving maximum air filtration needed to keep allergies and asthma under control. This Amaircare 8 inch annual filter kit includes 3 pre-filters and 2 carbon inner filters that are carbon media filters. Replacement of these air filters keeps the HEPA filter and the unit performing at a high level. This is a 12 month supply of filters for most uses. Remember that the HEPA filter system must run continuously or bacteria may grow within the filter itself. Pre-filters removedust and odors from the air. Replace the prefilters every 3 months. The inner filtersare pure carbon blanket media that remove Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) including paint fumes, cleaning solvent fumes, etc. Replace the inner filters every six months.
