These black interlocking carpet tiles are interior carpet tiles that interlock into border and inside carpet mats. As with all SoftCarpet components, they are made of sturdy yet attractive 100% polypropylene, known as PP carpet, this commercial grade carpet is bonded to a closed cell EVA foam, also known as ethylene vinyl acetate foam. EVA foam gives the carpet tiles a foam-like consistency, making it ideal for commercial display areas, for play rooms or recreational rooms, exercise rooms, day care centers or other rooms.
Each carpet square is 2 feet square for a total of 4 square feet. The thickness of each Softcarpet component is 5/8 inch. These premium carpet tiles by Alessco have a resilient backing that makes standing at trade shows less stressful while presenting a professional trade show booth. Inside squares have 10 projections on all 4 sides that quickly interlock with 2 feet by 2 feet border pieces (not included) and other interior squares so that completed carpet fits tightly together as if it were a single piece of carpeting.
