SmartCrystal Technology: The AlcoHAWK
One Test contains chemical crystals that react when they come in
contact with the alcohol from a test subject’s breath. If the alcohol
level exceeds the chosen BAC %, the crystals change in color from
yellow to green, showing that alcohol was detected in the breath of the
test subject.
Sample Collected Indicator : A red dot on the AlcoHAWK
One Test tube will change white, signaling when a sufficient
breath sample has been obtained.

One Test tube also helps to ensure users understand the test results.
When the crystals above the line have changed color, it is indicative
of a positive test result (the user’s BAC is the chosen testing level
or higher). Similar products do not use this method; leaving the users
unsure of how many crystals need to change color to indicate a positive
result or whether the color has sufficiently changed.

This device is intended to measure alcohol in the human breath. The accuracy of this device has been established at a Blood Alcohol Concentration of 0.008% and 0.032%. Accuracy at a Blood Alcohol Concentration greater than 0.032% has not been evaluated.
