This Snugglewool lambs wool fleece baby blanket is a crib blanket size and is backed with soft, regular cotton flannel to keep baby cooler in summer and warmer in winter. The wool, from the Merino sheep in Australia and New Zealand, is sliver-knit to a polyester backing and processed to withstand gentle machine washing. The fleece looks and feels like a sheepskin clipped to a one inch length. This lightweight infant blanket made of lambswool requires no heat for disinfecting as wool is a naturally disinfecting fiber.
